ABOUT

Hunting is a lifestyle and if you ask some, it is an obsession. This obsession translates into the work.

The nasal cavities are removed due to the large amount of flesh that is held in the nooks and crannies of the nasal cavities. Ear canals are "popped" and drilled out allowing any unwanted cartilage and tissue to free up in the brain cavity that can remain hidden.

Licensed and operating in accordance with Wyoming Game and Fish regulations.

A small sample of our work can be viewed here on the website. For a more comprehensive body of work, visit our Facebook and Instagram pages.

CROWN MOUNTS

Pricing Varies

Pronghorn, Deer, and Elk. Price varies by species and includes the fabric, trimming, and plaque. We prefer to use a plaster compound mixture, sealed with epoxy instead of foam mould to ensure a solid, permanent hold. This mould is then securely attached to the plaque.

Our plaques are handmade from a local  vendor in town. We will have a few in stock; however, if do not have any in stock or if something more custom is requested, there will be more of a lead time.

SKULL MOUNTING HARDWARE

Pricing varies

We can order some custom made skull hookers through if you choose to do so. We prefer a vendor located in Nevada.  Please keep in mind, anything custom will require a lead time if we do not have any in stock.

Otherwise, it is up to you to purchase your own wall hanging hardware.

OPERATING HOURS

Drop offs are by appointment only as we are not always in or around the shop.

We do not run traditional hours due to not always being able to get your animal back to town during "banker" hours. Happy to receive and allow pickups at almost anytime, day or night.

FAQ'S

If it is not covered below, give us a shout!

WHAT IS YOUR HISTORY?

We have personally been doing euro mounts and perfecting our process since 2015. What started out as a hobby and for personal use, evolved into a small, locally owned business.

WHAT ARE YOUR LEAD TIMES?

Lead times vary depending on what you order. For a basic Euro mount without a plaque, expect lead times up to 7 days.

Other variables that could increase or decrease lead times are not limited to the condition of the head, species, etc.

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?

No. The belief is, if you are serious enough to bring it to us, we will settle up after.

However, if something more custom is desired that we do not carry in the shop regarding plaques and mounting hardware, etc., a deposit will be required.

*A deposit does not ensure your animal is put in the front of the line.*

WHAT PAYMENTS TYPES DO YOU ACCEPT?

Cash, card, and venmo.

We no longer accept personal checks.

WHAT IS YOUR PAYMENT POLICY?

We do not accept payment plans and payment is expected at time of pickup.

WHAT TYPES OF PLAQUES DO YOU OFFER?

We prefer to use a local vendor who uses Wyoming milled wood which is handcrafted by him. We will keep a few around the shop but if anything more custom is desired, we prefer to use Taxidermist Wood shop out of Texas.

ARE YOU LICENSED?

Yes. Licensed and operating in accordance with Wyoming Game and Fish regulations.

DO YOU TAN HIDES?

No. Happy to get you in touch with someone who can take care of you.

DO YOU TAKE DECEASED HOUSE PETS?

No. For a variety of reasons, we do not accept or entertain requests for common household pets (Cats, dogs, etc.).

DO YOU SHIP?

We do offer shipping. Shipping costs include box, ship costs, and packing material. Shipping costs can vary due to size of the animal. FedEx is our preferred shipping carrier as we have had great success utilizing them for shipping throughout the country.

A larger animal such as an elk or moose will need a shipping container built and sent via freight. This can drive the cost of shipping up. If you choose this, cost of material and time to build shipping container will be included in the shipping cost.

WHAT IF MY MOUNT IS DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING?

How we pack and secure the mounts before shipping greatly reduces the potential for damage while in route to you. We have shipped to Texas, California, Maine, Pennsylvania, Montana, Colorado, Florida, and a handful of other states with great success.

However, we are not responsible for the negligence of the carrier(s) and it's employees.

HOW WILL I KNOW MY ANIMAL IS COMPLETED?

You will be updated along the way. Updates usually happen when the animal is started, when the flesh is removed and bone is degreased, when it is whitened, and when it is completed.

WHAT IF I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH MY EURO?

We stand by our work. Any mistakes caused directly by us, will be handled by us.

HOW IS YOUR PROCESS DIFFERENT?

We believe in a simple, bleach and harsh chemical free process which allows a nice, bright and long lasting finish while removing the grease which will "oil up the bone", possibly discoloring it down the road.

We remove nasal cavities on all animals as well as removing ear canals and opening up those passageways to the brain cavity. This ensures all meat and cartilage hidden in nasal cavities and under those ear canals are removed.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY MOUNT?

Maintenance is simple. We recommend the standard Mop & Glo multi surface floor cleaner. We give all horns, antlers, and skulls a nice coat to help somewhat seal it, without giving off reflection.

A little goes a long way!

DO YOU ACCEPT ROTTEN HEADS?

In the past, we have; however, as of the 2023 season we no longer accept rotten heads.

We pride ourselves on being a clean and rotten free shop and will turn any head away we deem to be rotten.
